Withdrawing Staked SWAN

Overview​

Stakers can initiate a withdrawal of their staked SWAN through the Swan platform. Depending on the pool’s liquidity, withdrawals may be immediate or subject to a waiting period.

Withdrawal Scenarios​

  1. Immediate Withdrawal:

    • If sufficient liquidity exists in the Delegation Pool, the withdrawal is processed instantly.

  1. Queued Withdrawal:

    • If liquidity is insufficient, the request is added to a queue. New deposits or service provider repayments replenish the pool, fulfilling withdrawal requests in order.

Withdrawal Process​

  1. Initiate Request:

    • Submit a withdrawal request via the Swan withdrawal dashboard.

  2. Wait (If Necessary):

    • View the estimated waiting period in the dashboard. During this time, pSWAN continue to reflect rewards and slashing events.

  3. Receive SWAN:

    • Once processed, your SWAN tokens are returned, and the corresponding pSWAN are burned.

  4. Optional Liquidity Swap (Coming Soon):

    • To avoid delays, stakers can swap their pSWAN for other liquid tokens on supported DEXs.
