pFIL Minting Allowance (SafePledge)

Upon successful ownership delegation, pFIL minting allowance calculation will start. This allowance determines how much pFIL can be minted against the Miner Node. The calculated amount will be shown under the “Avail. Minting Balance” column.

If the miner’s asset increases significantly and users would like to recalculate the pFIL minting allowance, users can click on the “Update SafePledge” button.

Do take note that recalculation of pFIL minting allowance can only be done once every 24 hours.

After a Miner Actor has been onboarded to the protocol successfully, the pFIL minting allowance for the Miner Actor will be calculated automatically.

There is a 24-hour confirmation period between pFIL minting allowance calculation and when pFIL can actually be minted. If “Mint” is clicked right after the Miner Actor is onboarded, the following message may show up.

After the confirmation period has ended, one will be able to mint pFIL. Click “Mint” under the “Manage” dropdown.

After entering the amount of pFIL that to mint, click “Confirm” to execute the minting. Please ensure that the entered number does not exceed the available minting balance. A wallet app will pop up to ask for approval.

When the minting is successful, the pFIL balance in the wallet and the pFIL available minting balance on the dashboard will both be updated.
